These terms cover both your use of this website and the locksmith services Apex Locksmith ("Apex," "we," "us") provides. By browsing this site or requesting service, you agree to them.
1. Our Services
Apex provides emergency, residential, commercial and automotive locksmith services — including lockouts, rekeying, lock installation, and key/fob duplication — in North Charleston, SC and the surrounding Lowcountry / Tri-County area.
2. Pricing & Quotes
Prices shown on this site (including any "starting from" or promotional pricing) are estimates for common jobs. Your exact price is confirmed by phone or by your technician before any work begins, based on the specific job, parts, hardware and time of service. Subject to terms and conditions — additional charges may apply for after-hours dispatch, specialty hardware, high-security locks, or unusual access conditions, and will always be disclosed and agreed before we proceed.
3. Scheduling & Cancellations
Emergency requests are dispatched as soon as a technician is available; typical arrival is 15–30 minutes but can vary with location, weather and demand. For scheduled (non-emergency) appointments, we ask that you reschedule or cancel with as much notice as possible so we can offer that time to another customer.
4. Licensing & Insurance
South Carolina does not require a state-issued locksmith license, so we're not a "licensed locksmith" in that sense — no such license exists here. Apex Locksmith operates under City of North Charleston Business License #BL-000000 and carries general liability insurance. Documentation for both is available on request.
5. Limitation of Liability
We take care on every job, but to the fullest extent permitted by law, Apex is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from a service call. Our liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under South Carolina law.
6. Use of This Website
Content on this site (text, images, logo and design) is provided for general information about our services and is owned by Apex Locksmith unless otherwise noted. We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate but don't warrant that it's error-free or uninterrupted. Links to third-party sites or services are provided for convenience; we aren't responsible for their content.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
