Apex Locksmiths wants everyone — including people with disabilities — to be able to use this website comfortably. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we've done
- Semantic HTML landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) and a "Skip to main content" link on every page.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Labels on all form fields, with clear status messages when a request is sent.
- Full keyboard operability — menus, accordions, carousels and forms work without a mouse, with visible focus outlines.
- Color contrast that meets AA ratios for text and interactive elements.
- Reduced-motion support: animations are disabled when your device requests prefers-reduced-motion.
- Touch targets sized for mobile use, and layouts that adapt from small phones to large desktops.
Known limitations
Interactive maps (used to show our service area) rely on a third-party map library and may be difficult to use with some assistive technologies. The same information is always provided as text — every service area is listed as a regular link next to the map.
